It started with one family.
MEET THE MOSS FAMILY
As foster parents, Darin and Kara Moss welcomed children into their home, sometimes with little more than the clothes they were wearing.
Their own children began making blankets and collecting stuffed animals so that every foster child welcomed into their home had something special to call their own.
What started within their own family became a vision to reach children throughout Arizona.
In 2016, that idea became A Mighty Change of Heart.

More than a bag.
Something to call their own.
​Each personalized duffle bag is thoughtfully filled with new clothing, pajamas, hygiene essentials, stuffies, and other items selected for the child receiving it.
And on the outside? Their name, embroidered just for them. A small detail that says something big: This is yours. You matter.
Beyond the bags, we also bring foster and kinship families together through special events and activities, creating opportunities for fun, connection, and lasting memories.
Their very own name!

I have been meaning to send this pic forever! This is the stuffed animal your staff randomly picked for my former foster kiddo's bag, next to our real life cat! Imagine my kiddo's surprise when he opened the bag. He was particularly attached to that cat and he got to take the stuffie with him when he went to his adoptive home. The work you do is so meaningful to these children.
